上世纪1930-80年代
Apr-1937 A medical room from the section of streetcars from the Department of Transportation (formerly Gyeongseong Electric Co., Ltd.) was established.
Sept. 1st, 1944 Moved to #47, Seosomun-dong, Jung-gu (purchased Danakamaru Hospital)
Jan. 1945 Renamed as Gyeongjeon Hospital
Dec. 1951 Patients were treated as a relief hospital during the Korean War
Sept. 16th, 1953 Beginning of construction to recover from damage during the Korean War and reconstruct buildings
Jan. 30th, 1954 The reconstruction of damage from Korean War is completed (15 patient rooms and 41 beds were installed)
Jul. 7th, 1952 Dongdaemun branch was established
Oct. 1st, 1959 Designated and operated as a hospital for clinical training of students of the College of Medicine, Seoul National University
Mar. 1961 A modern-style five story building (Building C) is completed (#47, Seosomun-dong, total floor area of 2648 sq. meters)
Jul. 1st, 1961 Renamed to Hanjeon Hospital
Dec. 1962 Renamed to Hanil Hospital
Jan. 1964 Ward B is completed (total floor area 952 sq. meters, floor space 218 sq. meters)
Jan. 1969 Took over operations of Hwacheon Convalescent Hospital.
Aug. 1974 License change for one consolidated general hospital
Sept. 10th, 1974 Promoted to a first-class industrial accident hospital
Dec. 12th, 1976 Closed Hwacheon Convalescent Hospital (treated a total of 1,071 tuberculosis patients)
May 29th, 1980 Established Gori Branch (Go-ri, Naah-myeon, Yangsan-gun, Gyeongnam)
May 9th, 1988 Moved to current location in Ssangmun-dong, Dobong-gu, Seoul
- 17 clinical departments with 200 patient beds
- Four ground floors and one underground floor (total floor area; 21,900 sq. meters)
Sept. 17th, 1988 Operated as a designated hospital for the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games (until October 12th, 1988)
Jan. 1989 Operated 17 clinical departments with 270 patient beds
Aug. 1st, 1989 A new building is completed
- 19 clinical departments with 410 patient beds
Oct. 22nd, 1989 Operated as a designated hospital for resident training
Nov. 12th, 1989 Designated emergency medical hospital (Designated by the Seoul Metropolitan Office)

Jul. 16th, 1992 Ward extension work begins
Jun. 30th, 1993 Established a radiation sickness medical research institute
Jun. 17th, 1994 477 Patient beds were completed
- New Building 3 was completed: new mixed ward, burn ward
Aug. 1994 Established a multiphasic health testing and service center
Apr. 1st, 1995 Installed and operated MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) equipment
Jul. 1997 Installed a branch at the light-water reactor construction site in Shinpo, North Korea
Aug. 18th, 1997 Held an international symposium in commemoration of the hospital’s 60th anniversary
Dec. 15th, 1997 Closed Gori branch
Jan. 5th, 1998 Operated the Department of Dentistry of Hanil Hospital
Jan. 23rd, 1998 Made an agreement for the use of medical services with DPRK (North Korea)
Mar. 12th, 1998 Opened an operating room at the nuclear power plant construction site in Shinpo
Aug. 1st, 1998 Implemented outpatient OCS (automatic prescription delivery system)
Sept. 15th, 1998 Operated a health counseling corner in Ssangmun Subway station
- Free blood pressure / blood sugar measurement and health counseling
Oct. 9th, 1998 Established a KEPCO dental clinic(head office of KEPCO in Samseong-dong)
Jul. 1st, 1999 Implemented ward OCS
Jul. 15th, 1999 Radiation healthcare research center is completed
2000年– 2009年
Jan. 2000 Made a new start as Hanil Hospital under the medical corporation KEPCO Healthcare Foundation
Jul. 2000 Designated as a regional emergency medical center
Aug. 2001 Made an agreement as a cooperative hospital of Seoul National University Hospital
Feb. 2002 Installed more artificial kidney rooms (installed 15 newest artificial dialyzers)
Apr. 2002 Opened Hanil Hospital homepage (www.hanilmed.co.kr)
Mar. 2003 Reformed the burn treatment center for expansion
Jun. 2003 Introduced a Digital Subtraction Angiography (DSA)
Jul. 2003 Introduced a positron emission tomography and a computed tomography (PET/CT)
Nov. 2003 Introduced a newest Dual Head gamma camera
Dec. 2003 Selected as the #2 emergency medical center in the Seoul region (surveyed by the Ministry of Health and Welfare)
Aug. 2004 Introduced a PACS (picture archiving and communicating system)
Apr. 2005 Established a rehabilitation center
Nov. 2005 Hanil Hospital management consulting study service established

Nov. 3rd, 2006 Outpatient clinic remodeling was completed
Jan. 25th, 2007 The 70th anniversary of the establishment of Hanil Hospital
Jan. 26th, 2007 Hanil Hospital's history for 70 years compilation commemoration meeting held (Ruby Hall, Guest House, Shilla Hotel)
Aug. 2007 Hanil Hospital modernization feasibility analysis and economic efficiency examination study service begins

Dec. 24th, 2007 Introduced new MRI technology
Feb. 15th, 2008 Dobong-gu-Hanil Hospital mutual healthcare project agreement proceeds
Apr. 18th, 2008 Designated as a hospital for emergency rescuer clinical training
Nov. 4th, 2008 Designated as a hospital for blood supply management
Jun. 19th, 2009 Selected as an excellent hospital in the country in the sector of clinical quality indicator under the medical institution assessment
2010 ~ Present
Jan. 28th, 2010 Introduced 128 channel MDCT operation
Mar. 24th, 2010 Proceeded upon agreement for hospital improvements of emergency medical services (Seoul Metropolitan Fire & Disaster Headquarters)
Jun. 10th, 2010 Selected as a Grade 1 hospital in hemodialysis appropriateness assessment
July 26th, 2010 The Digestive Organ Center opens
Nov. 2nd, 2010 Health Promotion Center remodeling completed
Nov. 2nd, 2010 ‘Blue Cap’ gallery opens
Mar. 14th, 2011 Established a medical room in UAE nuclear power plant
Apr. 24th, 2012 Proceeded upon agreement for health examination of children in low-income groups in Dobong-gu in after school programs
Sept. 1st, 2012 Renamed to HanilGeneral Hospital
Nov. 2012 EMR (Electronic Medical Record System) set to be established
