This division diagnoses and treats diseases of the kidney or the urinary tract including glomerular renal disease(nephritis), urinary tract infections, polycystic renal disease, acute renal failure, chronic renal failure, hypertension and diabetic renal disease, and electrolyte or water metabolic errors.

If these renal diseases are not treated, the kidney will keep on being damaged and developing chronic renal failure which will result in complete loss of kidney function. Our hospital performs peritoneal dialysis or hemodialysis to extend the lives of chronic renal failure patients and improve their quality of life as well as operates an artificial kidney room with 15 beds in the outpatient clinic.
