The Department of Psychiatry at the HanilGeneral Hospital was established in 1969. The department of Psychiatry provides counseling, psychotherapy and drug treatment for various mental diseases, psychological problems, conflicts in human relations and conflicts in other social issues. The mental diseases treated by this department include schizophrenia, manic-depression, depression, anxiety disorders, panic disorders, personality disorders, dementia, sleep disorders, various kinds of eating disorders including anorexia, somatization disorders, alcoholism and drug addiction. This department also counsels couples in conflict resolution along with other psychological issues.
