Anesthesiology & Pain Clinic

The HanilGeneral Hospital has the newest model of the Ohmeda anesthesia equipment and patient monitors which can be linked with the EMR (electronic medical records) system in all operating rooms. As a result, not only blood pressure, electrocardiograms, oxygen saturation and end expiratory carbon dioxide pressure readings but also invasive arterial pressure and central venous pressure readings can be measured in a diverse array of operational situations. In addition, the HanilGeneral Hospital also has equipment to accurately measure the appropriate amount of cardiac output and circulating blood volume so that it can effectively deal with multiple injury patients, severe burn patients, and patients with serious damage to myocardial functions.

Eight nurses of the department of anesthesia monitor the conditions of all patients who are put under general anesthesia, or local anesthesia, while measuring vital signs using non-invasive or invasive methods. In addition, all recovery rooms are monitored dually or triply in through centralized patient monitoring devices. The department of anesthesia continues its best efforts not only for the anesthesia during surgery but also for each patient’s safety from the time each they come into the operating room to the time the patient goes back to their relevant recovery room.
