The Department of Nuclear Medicine at the HanilGeneral Hospital operates a 'isotope treatment clinic' in cooperation with the Department of Internal Medicine and the Department of Otorhinolaryngology for hyperthyroidism patients or thyroid cancer patients who need isotope(radioiodine) treatment.

In particular, this department is equipped with three special patient rooms for thyroid cancer patients who are administered with a high dose of radioiodine and receives patients from the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at the HanilGeneral Hospital and other hospitals throughout the country that perform operations on thyroid cancer patients.
