The laboratory medicine conducts diverse tests using clinical specimens obtained from patients such as blood and urine in order to find diseases early on, diagnose diseases and judge treatment effects. This department consists of a diagnostic blood test room, diagnostic immunological test room, clinical chemical test room, clinical microbiological examination room, blood bank, emergency test room and genetics test room.

Clinical pathological tests contribute to improving the efficiency of treatment of patients by informing test results quickly and accurately to clinicians with automated tests, accurate test instruments and computerized data processing.
