Department of Ophthalmology

An old proverb said that if the whole body is worth one thousand nyang (old Korean coinage), the eyes are worth nine hundred nyang. Although they are small, the eyes are thought to be the most important organs in our bodies. The eyes are not only in charge of vision but it’s also the organ where all the body’s physiology such as circulation, nerves, and nutrition is concentrated.

The department of ophthalmology of this hospital is a clinical department that diagnoses diseases of the eyes and their affiliated organs by treating and controlling the diseases with chemotherapy and surgery.
