The Nervous System Center at the HanilGeneral Hospital is staffed with excellent medical teams that provide fast and accurate medical services. This is made possible through cooperative links with diverse clinical departments and centers including the Emergency Medical Center and the Rehabilitation Center.

In 2011, the Nervous System Center was selected as the best national hospital branch in the area of acute stroke treatment, according to the Korea JoonAng Daily’s “2011 Hospital Assessment” report.

In 2012, the Nervous System Center successfully and swiftly performed an “intravascular interventional procedure following coil embolization” – a procedure that is considered extremely difficult and frequently not performed at even larger hospitals. Based on such cases, the center’s medical team has received acclaimed recognition for their level of proficiency and expertise.

The Nervous System Center is headed by the Department of Neurology at the HanilGeneral Hospital.
